Description:
• Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain data models to support analytical reporting and business intelligence needs.
• Utilize PySpark, SQL, and other relevant technologies to perform data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in analytics and reporting.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics technologies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines and processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide technical expertise and support for data-related initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, with a strong background in data modeling, pipeline creation, and analytics technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (1-5 years) working as a Data Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Experience with data modeling
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, for developing insightful dashboards and reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
