Description:
GlobalLogic Sweden is seeking a Delivery Manager with extensive experience in IT consulting and business development to help us empower and develop the GlobalLogic Team in Gothenburg.
Requirements:
- Extended experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in IT Software consulting firms.
- 7+ years of Project management experience
- Solid understanding of an outsourcing business model
- Experience and good understanding of the Swedish IT Market
- Experience in industrial or med-tech domains is a plus
- Solid track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary IT projects.
- Strong ability to lead complementary teams and handle multiple partners and customers
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud technologies, and emerging IT trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities, and a goal-oriented attitude.
Job Responsibilities:
As a part of the managerial team, you will be involved in such activities as:
End-to-End Delivery Oversight: Lead and run the delivery of complex IT consultancy projects.
Client Engagement: Foster and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators, serving as the point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Establish and maintain relations with new and existing partners to build long-term connections.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional and distributed teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Improve Operational Efficiency: Drive improvements in operational performance and quality standards throughout delivery processes.
Budget Management: Supervise the financial aspects of the projects, including budget planning, forecasting, and prioritization.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, ensuring critical metrics like KPIs and SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.
Establishing Delivery Strategies: Defining delivery strategies, setting goals, and aligning projects with client objectives and organizational vision. Collaboration with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies.
