Description:
We are looking for the candidates who are comfortable to work in the environment where the technologies like ETL, database, scripting languages are required.
The person should possess excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience working with complex databases and query languages (SQL, PL/SQL, etc.).
- Proficiency with data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Strong understanding of database architecture and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
- Familiarity with data integration tools and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the customer and internal teams to understand the scope and requirements of data migration projects.
- Execute data migration processes, including the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from legacy source systems into WorkWave’s platform.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manipulate and extract data as needed during migration.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize project delays.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including engineers and developers, to ensure seamless integration of data into WorkWave systems.
- Document migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams regarding progress, challenges, and successful milestones.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for data migration, offering suggestions to improve process efficiency.
