Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Java software developer to serve as a key liaison between our company and major global banks, facilitating the implementation and integration of our API into their collateral management systems. This pivotal role involves developing new functionalities, maintaining existing systems, and requires occasional travel, along with strong independent working capabilities and effective collaboration with various technical teams within our organization.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering minimum, Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science preferred
• 15+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java framework, demonstrating a track record of complex system development and API integrations.
• More than 4 years’ experience in a lead role responsible for architectural decisions.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with collateral management systems within the banking or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and integrating APIs, particularly in financial or banking environments.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, or similar tools, showcasing proficiency in implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Outstanding ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including major banking clients.
• Proven track record of working with global banking clients, understanding their needs, and successfully delivering tailored software solutions.
• Extensive experience in managing complex technical projects, including overseeing cross-functional teams and coordinating with internal teams.
• Extensive understanding of end-to-end software delivery process, including requirement gathering, documentation, testing and deployment.
• Understanding of the usage of DevOps tools and automation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and evaluate architecture for client solutions. Provide rationalization, capability harmonization, risk, resilience and security evaluations.
- Analize infrastructure requirements and designs architecture to meet client requirements.
- Conduct technical presentations that concisly and illustrative presentation client solution in a confident and effective manner.
- Provide in-depth technical expertise of 3rd party collateral management systems.
- Possess broad knowledge of how the collateral life cycle works.
- Possesses depth of technical expertise, knowledge of technologies and design, development and implementation.
- Applies knowledge of technologies, design patterns and standards to creation of a software product or customer solution.
- Provides architectural blueprints and technical leadership to the developer community.
- Evaluates and recommends tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Collaborates with business sponsors, peers, and end users to produce market leading technology solutions.
- Interprets customer business needs to articulate technology solutions.
- Define reference architecture for a product or a solution, based on the overall technology directions and suggest alternative approaches to the company architecture forum.
