Srinivas (Srini) Shankar serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer where he is responsible for defining and executing the overall vision and strategy, driving business growth, aligning investments, and ensuring consistency, efficiency, and worldwide operational excellence, while fostering an enduring culture and ensuring long-term sustainability in a competitive market. Additionally, Srini concurrently holds the role of Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Head of Global Industries at GlobalLogic, where he advances vertical capabilities and accelerates the company’s go-to-market strategy across sales, marketing, alliances, and industry business units. Since joining GlobalLogic in October 2023, Srini has driven transformative growth and enhanced client-centric strategies, leveraging his visionary leadership and extensive industry expertise.

A seasoned executive with almost three decades of experience, Srini brings a strong track record of driving revenue growth, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional client value. His leadership has consistently propelled organizations to achieve transformational outcomes, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and results-driven leader.

Before joining GlobalLogic, Srini held several critical leadership positions at Cognizant and Infosys, where he played pivotal roles in expanding market presence and achieving sustained growth. As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Americas at Cognizant, he spearheaded new client acquisition efforts across diverse industry verticals and service lines within Digital Business & Technology services, positioning the organization as a leader in these domains. In his role as Global Head of the Life Sciences business, Srini drove strategic growth initiatives, solidifying Cognizant’s leadership in this sector.

Srini is a respected figure in the industry and has been a featured panelist and speaker at prominent industry conferences, including the Wall Street Journal Health Tech Summit, Reuters Events, Google Cloud NEXT, PharmaVoice, and Pharmaceutical Executive.

Srini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, equipping him with a strong foundation to lead complex, global organizations.

Beyond his professional achievements, Srini considers himself a global citizen, having lived and worked in diverse regions such as North America, UKI, Europe, India, and Africa. He resides in the Greater New York Area with his family, where he enjoys playing tennis, indulging in historical non-fiction literature, and traveling in his leisure time.
