Description:
Our client is a performance rights organization in the United States. It collects blanket license fees from businesses that use music, entitling those businesses to play or sync any songs from the client’s repertoire of over 22.4 million musical works. On a regular basis, the client distributes the money to songwriters, composers, and music publishers as royalties to those members whose works have been performed.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of QA/QA Automation experience, with at least 4 years focused on automation.
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or in a similar role with a strong technical emphasis.
- Expertise in creating and implementing comprehensive test strategies for thorough software testing.
- Skilled in building QA frameworks from scratch, including selecting tools and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (preferably Cypress or Selenium with C#).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Adaptable to various technology stacks and tools.
- Strong understanding of various software development methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
- Solid knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management.
- Comfortable performing manual QA testing when required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- B.Sc in Computer Science is an advantage.
- Advanced level of English
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a team responsible for building the rights management solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement robust QA frameworks and automation test suites tailored to diverse technology stacks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product owners, to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Ensure that QA best practices and standards are consistently followed across projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools to continuously improve QA processes.
- Being the main contact point for the US based client team
- Provide technical guideline to the local team
- Interview new candidates to join the team
