Description:
Join GlobalLogic as a Senior AQA Engineer to enhance technical capabilities and improve customer service.
We are looking for candidates with coding capabilities, these engineers will be coded for end-to-end testing. This position offers the opportunity to craft the strategic direction of our platform and applications through quality assurance practices.

Requirements:
– Proficient in general QA and Automated testing, with a strong background in tools like Jenkins and CircleCI.
– Experience with Typescript and Playwright.
– Extensive experience with test case design and bug-tracking systems such as Jira.
– Proven experience in an Agile development environment and familiarity with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) processes.
– Proficient in Javascript coding – is a must.
– Knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js, React.js, and PHP is a plus.
– Experience with API and integration testing is crucial.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– A proactive approach to continuous learning and development.
– ISTQB certification is nice to have but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and ensure software solutions are aligned with business goals.
– Develop and complete test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
– Diagnose defects and supervise them from discovery to resolution.
– Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support standard methodologies for QA and improve integration testing throughout the lifecycle.
– Mentor junior QA engineers and lead by example to promote a culture of excellence in an encouraging environment.
– Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures and overall software quality.
