Description:
Our client is a rapidly growing leader in the data and application integration space. Our customers are thought leaders in data integration, big data and cloud integration, they represent some of the biggest and best names in retail, financial services, consumer products, and business services.
Requirements:
- Strong English, communication and interpersonal skills to work as a part of client’s team
- Recent backend experience with PHP
- Experience in UI development and JavaScript knowledge
- Familiarity with the Symfony framework
- Familiarity with MySQL
- Experienced with migration from PHP 5 to PHP 8 will be huge plus
- Experience in other migrations, which confirm candidate ability to understand someone else’s code and rewritten it
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand existing code base
- Rewrite using recent technologies along with good test coverage
- Identify tactical and long-terms improvements
- Collaborating with other team member(s), report progress on daily basis
- Maintaining technical documentation
