Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years of experience
- Elastic Search or Solr: Experience with search technologies like SOLR or Elasticsearch.
- Kafka: Familiarity with message queue systems like Kafka.
- SNS/SQS: Experience with AWS SNS/SQS for messaging systems.
- Java: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Java.
- Spring Boot: Proficiency in using Spring Boot for developing Java-based applications.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- APIs: Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
- Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Adaptability: Ability to switch between Java for new projects and PHP for maintaining existing systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greenfield Development: Design, develop, and maintain new software solutions using Java.
- Legacy Code Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing codebase using PHP.
- Search Optimization: Implement and optimize search functionalities using SOLR and other search technologies.
- Message Queue Integration: Integrate and manage message queue systems like Kafka and AWS SNS/SQS.
- Code Quality: Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving innovation within the team.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
