Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer, with 6+ years of experience in Romania. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building, optimizing, and managing data pipelines and solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in SQL, Python, and ETL processes, along with expertise in data modeling, governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in SQL and Python: Strong hands-on experience is mandatory.
• DBT Expertise: Experience in developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines.
• BI Tools: Proven experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• ETL Development: Demonstrated expertise in building and managing ETL pipelines.
• Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of MPP and SQL databases, with the ability to choose and implement the right database solutions.
• Data Architecture: Experience in designing scalable and efficient data architectures.
• Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work across teams to drive data model improvements, governance, and process standardization.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to address complex data challenges effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate and process data from multiple sources.
• Build scalable and efficient data solutions to support analytical and operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine data models, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data governance standards.
• Implement and manage data transformation processes using DBT to streamline analytics workflows.
• Leverage BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to create insightful visualizations and reports.
• Optimize and manage large-scale databases (MPP/SQL) with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability across all solutions.
• Work on data architecture design, orchestration, and end-to-end lifecycle management of data solutions.
• Support and implement best practices in change management within data environments.
