Description:
The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002. GlobalLogic is building a team that will be responsible for a specific area – maintenance of products that are utilized by major US telecom operators.
Requirements:
Required skills:
- Experience with and a broad understanding of implementing and managing complex technical projects infrastructure with the ability to solve technical problems
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database installation, tuning, and upgrading
- Background in Red Hat LinuxUnix Server Administration
- Experience in administering and performance tuning of Apache web server environment
- Installation and Configuration of Apache Tomcat/JBoss EAP
- Deploy, support, and troubleshoot applications running on Java Application Servers
- Working knowledge of WebSphere MQ or similar queue managers
- Hands-on experience in Automation (Bash /Shell /Python)
- Basic SQL programming skills
- Good understanding of the LDAP architecture
- Software build and release process experience, familiarity with Java and CC++ build tools and compilers (Gradle/Ant/CMake preferred)
- Version control using Git or equivalent
- Upper-intermediate English knowledge
Nice to have:
- Basic experience/understanding in administering PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Exposure to Java technologies (Java EE, EJB, Web Services, Groovy DSL) is a plus
- Experience on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the development team has properly installed and configured the environment on time.
- Establishing and managing the CM infrastructure, managing, troubleshooting, and improving CM tool and environment
- Evaluating, installing, configuring software, providing appropriate maintenance levels, and tuning
- Producing documentation for use in configuration, repair, and troubleshooting of managed systems
- Performing backups and recoveries
