Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of data source adapters/drivers in Java. These adapters/drivers will enable seamless integration with various data sources such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Amazon Redshift, Google Cloud Storage, Power BI, GraphQL, and others, using JDBC drivers or APIs provided by the respective vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong background in Java development and data source integration.
Extensive knowledge of JDBC, APIs, and integration techniques for data sources like Salesforce, SharePoint, Amazon Redshift, Google Cloud Storage, Power BI, GraphQL, and others.
Proficiency in Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, software development life cycle, and project management practices.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts is desirable.

Analyze business requirements and propose scalable, efficient, and secure architectural solutions for data source integration.
Design and develop high-performance, robust Java-based adapters/drivers to connect with various data sources, leveraging JDBC drivers, APIs, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, and subject matter experts, to ensure successful implementation and integration.
Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to data source integration, security, performance, and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data source integration, Java development, and related domains.
Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Ensure proper documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and implementation details.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team.
