Requirements

Seeking a Engineering Leads/Software Engineer II will Implement technical vision for multiple projects, as well as be expected to contribute to key platform, IaC, or framework components. Additional responsibilities include code review of projects, coding and/or configuring solutions for complex Agile stories across multiple domains or platform areas, and the creation of conceptual design/architecture diagrams. This role should excel at building high quality software that can be leverage across multiple domains or platform areas focusing on capabilities to be leveraged in automation and platform services.
Required Skills & Experience:

• Total Work Experience: 10+ years (software development), 8 years minimum.
• Leadership Experience: 3 years minimum, 5 years preferred
• SaaS Product Experience: 3 years minimum; 5 years preferred.
• Experience of scalable, resilient, modern, cloud-native microservice development with Java, .NET, Python, or Typescript
• Experience in distributed software patterns, such as DDD,  serverless, and event-driven architecture
• Experience in Object-oriented design, Java or .NET development. Experience with CI/CD to deliver software enhancements to customers with full automation.
• Experience in Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including Serverless.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible or other IaC platforms.
• Experience in message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Knowledge of CQRS, Kubernetes systems like GKE or AKS, event-driven architecture, and Kafka
• Knowledge of building monitoring, alerting, and observability for maintaining high customer SLAs for SaaS delivered products.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GraphQL and API Gateways.
• Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices using .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Define best practices for microservices development, API design, and system integration.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and observability using tools like ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Development & Deployment

• Lead the development of RESTful APIs & gRPC services.
• Optimize services for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Deploy and manage microservices using Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm.
• Ensure security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway security).

DevOps & Cloud Enablement

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Helm) for cloud deployments.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance standards.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, QA, DevOps).
• Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and hands-on troubleshooting.
