Our Client is world-leading manufacture of premium quality “smart” beds designed to help answer questions around not being able to sleep at night through innovative technologies and digitilized solutions.
Our client is a fast moving, highly technical team of people with the ambitious goal of bringing people better health and well-being through the best possible sleep experience, aimed to be the leader in sleep. The product combines established expertise in creating comfortable, adjustable beds with the latest in sleep science, cutting-edge sensor technology, and data processing algorithms.
The Role:
As a Data Science Architect, you will be responsible for strategic innovation and design, finding new, high-impact methods to deliver business value to our customers. Working with the business stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
Successful candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills; will be comfortable explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership and has deep understanding of modern architecture and design practices, patterns and tools.
Requirements:

PhD, MSc or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics or similar discipline with 10+ years experience on signal processing and data science/statistics projects.

7+ years of experience bringing Machine Learning to production

Ability to independently design and deliver large complex projects

Proficiency in Python, Matlab, R

Experience with state-of-the-art modelling technologies: TensorFlow, keras, PyTorch

Knowledge and experience in machine learning and deep learning technics and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, Recurrent Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks etc.

Knowledge of time series modelling and signal processing
-
Experience of working with biosensor data, knowledge of sleep science, sleep research

Strongly preferred experience on bio-signals such as electrocardiogram, photoplethysmography, electroencephalogram

Subject matter data expertise in Life Sciences (Healthcare)

Knowledge of SQL and NO SQL

Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, Business Objects, D3, ggplot, etc.

Experience working with and creating data architectures to handle large volume of datasets.

Ability to work with other architects and functional leaders to shape the architectural vision and roadmap for the organization.

Ability to drive long-term design strategies that span multiple complex projects, deliver technical reports to the leadership and customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

- Experience in Healthcare or medical domain
Job Responsibilities:

Partner end-to-end with Product Managers, Application Architects, Data Scientists to understand customer requirements, design prototypes, and bring innovative technologies to production

Lead technical and design discussions with respective functional leaders and teams where needed

Work with business stakeholders/product managers to convert business requirements into technical specifications

Provides input into long-range product requirements, best practices, and operational guidelines, with focus on continuous improvement of platform reliability and serviceability

Drives research, case studies, and prototypes on leading edge technologies and how they can be leveraged
