Associate Vice President – Global Total Rewards, Recognition & Benefits
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will serve as a trusted organizational leader responsible for engaging key stakeholders and the forward-looking design of GlobalLogic’s compensation strategy. You will also be accountable for the strategic management of inclusive employee-related benefits, recognition, and services that can effectively support a diverse, rapidly growing global employee base. #LI-AG6
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of scaling compensation and benefits programs and practices, with a track record of conceptualizing successful strategies, leading action plans, and driving the execution of organizational goals
- This position requires an ability to think strategically about problems as well as a knack for tactical execution and strong project management skills
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to keep stakeholders informed and included in a way that builds trust
- Known for developing strong working relationships and skilled in influence
- Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives
- Excellent business and People Operations acumen; comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
- 15+ years of relevant experience in global compensation and benefits planning
- Expertise in the development of strategy and administration of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, with a strong awareness of best practices
- Experience with and exposure to a distributed workforce and high-impact HR and Total Rewards functions within world-class scaling organization(s)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; demonstrated experience performing complex reporting and analysis
Job Responsibilities:
The main focus of the role is to:
- Partner with senior business leaders, and the People leadership team to translate business strategy into meaningful Total Rewards strategies that are effective in attracting, rewarding, and retaining key talent
- Partner with the CoE to define the strategy development, design, implementation, administration, and governance of all compensation, benefit, and recognition programs, globally for GlobalLogic
- Aim to harmonize with Hitachi where possible, creating synergies in Total Rewards as well as cost optimization
- Work with the CPO to prepare all analysis and compensation-related materials that must be approved by the Senior Leadership Team and Compensation Committee.
You will be accountable for:
- Compensation Cycles: Be accountable for the success of the recurring compensation cycles, including executive briefings, employee communications, and executive read-outs
- Change Management and Communication: Drive the change management process with stakeholders and employees for GL’s total reward programs as they evolve with a special focus on education and effective communication
- Expert Advice: Provide thought leadership, and consultation to senior leaders on the global development of total rewards methodologies and philosophy, including supporting policies, practices, systems, and external partners
- Employee Compensation: Partner with CoE to design and communicate the GlobalLogic compensation philosophy and the broad-based compensation programs that attract, reward, and retain key talent populations. Partner with CoE to deliver programs for the GL business and provide context on the GL business environment, budgets, timing, and stakeholder needs to ensure successful execution
- Recognition and Rewards: Leveraging collaborative employee-led design methods and partnering with the TR CoE to design and operate the GlobalLogic recognition philosophy. The program should be scalable and optimized for existing best practices and regional variations
- Benefits: Partner with the global benefits CoE team to ensure GlobalLogic’s business requirements can be met through benefit changes/enhancements, annual benefit enrollment programs, wellness initiatives, etc.
