Department Description:
The Quality Assurance and Testing Department at GlobalLogic is dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of software quality and reliability. Our team of skilled test engineers works closely with development teams to implement rigorous testing processes and maintain automated testing frameworks
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
• Familiarity with Canonical Ubuntu OS and Linux-based environments
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
• Experience with version control systems
• Understanding of build systems and tools
Professional Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in automation testing
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle
• Document test cases, results, and any defects found during testing
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
• Ensure all testing activities comply with project requirements and standards
• Provide support and maintenance for automated testing frameworks and tools
• Work with the QA and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
