Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Manual Tester with a strong background in testing backend systems, particularly within domains such as OTT payments, SAP finance, trading, banking, insurance, or ledger systems. This role will involve ensuring the reliability and functionality of backend commerce applications for our client in the entertainment industry. You will be responsible for manual testing, API testing (using Postman), and working within a sandbox environment to validate various system functionalities.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in manual QA testing, with a focus on backend systems.
  • Strong experience in API testing, particularly with Postman.
  • Hands-on experience testing backend systems in domains such as OTT payments, SAP finance, trading, banking, insurance, or ledger systems.
  • Familiarity with sandbox environments and testing methodologies in such setups.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing of backend systems in domains such as OTT payments, finance, insurance, or banking.
  • API testing using Postman, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Test and validate features in sandbox environments, ensuring proper system behavior.
  • Identify and document defects and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve them.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing results and system performance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and quality standards.
