Description:
Our client provides outsourced sales and marketing solutions to Retail and CPG companies through data- and technology-driven services. To enhance operational efficiency and streamline application integration, they aimed to implement an Enterprise Integration Platform with organization-wide standards.
GlobalLogic was engaged to build a secure, reliable, and fully automated Integration Platform hosted in Azure Cloud. The platform enables data persistence, data modeling, transformation patterns, governance, analytics, and application runtime, leveraging Azure DevOps for automation.
The platform ensures centralized data handling, cost optimization, enhanced security, and new business opportunities by making data more accessible and actionable.
Requirements:
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and implement scalable, cloud-based data solutions. The role involves analyzing existing applications and infrastructure, defining target-state architectures, and modernizing applications using Azure cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is experienced in data engineering, cloud architecture, and integration frameworks and will play a key role in ensuring the platform’s efficiency, security, and scalability.
This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and contribute to building a high-performance, enterprise-level integration platform in a collaborative, Agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze client applications and infrastructure to design target-state architecture using cloud best practices
- Propose and develop reusable patterns to accelerate the migration and integration of multiple applications
- Serve as the technical SME for application modernization and migration within the customer ecosystem
- Lead application rearchitecture efforts to optimize performance and scalability
- Evaluate technical risks and define mitigation and placement strategies
- Advise on cloud architecture solutions to align with business objectives and ensure long-term success
Key Skills – Must Have
- Architecture experience
- Cloud experience; Azure is preferred but any cloud provider can be taken into account
- Data Background
- Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, .NET for example)
