Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in performance testing and monitoring for microservice architectures.
- Proven ability to monitor and optimize RabbitMQ performance, including queue handling.
- Expertise with Prometheus and Grafana for real-time analysis and advanced reporting.
- Familiarity with Dynatrace or equivalent application performance management tools.
- Experience in monitoring and tuning caching systems like Redis and Kafka.
- Understanding of Kubernetes performance optimization techniques.
- Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of MongoDB monitoring and optimization (preferred).
- Experience with application profiling and monitoring (.NET experience preferred) (nice to have).
- Strong scripting skills and knowledge of tools like Ansible for automation (nice to have).
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team alignment.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Performance Engineer, should independently able to write performance test scripts, Run various performance test scenario’s, Review application performance, improve scalability, Resiliency of the applications (differrent modules) , Enhance current observability stack, etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced performance testing strategies for distributed systems.
- Perform in-depth application profiling to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Monitor RabbitMQ and other messaging systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Lead efforts in enhancing observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure application scalability and resiliency.
- Mentor junior engineers and support them in resolving performance issues.
- Recommend and implement optimizations for distributed caching and database systems.
- Contribute to Kubernetes-based application performance enhancements and optimizations.
