Description

Our customer is the leader in virtual clinical trial conduct. Their platform is a suite of solutions for capturing and integrating electronic data from sites, clinicians, and patients at its source, and thus reducing manual labor, providing anytime, anywhere data access, and saving resources as the clinical trials progress. This platform enables each customer to define the setup that works best for their trial: patients and clinicians can mix modalities, switching from smartphone to tablet to PC as desired. It allows for trials to be conducted on-site, remotely, or have the mix of the two options.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.
• Expertise in Python and JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proven experience in solution design and team leadership.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Alembic migrations and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• Strong knowledge of Git (GitLab), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-quality fullstack applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Architect, develop, and maintain robust REST APIs and backend services.
• Ensure best practices in code reviews, coding standards, and system architecture.
• Drive solution design and contribute to the overall system architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Implement and optimize AWS services for scalability and reliability.
• Manage and optimize relational databases (SQL) and work with SQLAlchemy ORM and Alembic migrations.
• Ensure secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0.
• Utilize Git (GitLab) for version control and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
• Foster collaboration using Jira, Confluence, Slack/Teams.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
