Description:
We’re seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in test development and test automation, particularly focused on supporting our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and handling related issues. You’ll play a pivotal role in our team, actively engaging in test activities within our rigs. Collaboration and initiative are key in our environment, where you’ll have the opportunity to influence outcomes and contribute to both individual and team successes. Proficiency in Python programming is essential, with preferred experience in Robot Frameworks, CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL.
We’re looking for a proactive, creative problem-solver who thrives in teamwork and is eager to share knowledge. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Requirements:
Main requirements:
- Hands-on experience with HIL rigs and automated test systems, particularly in Vector rigs
- Automotive testing background with expertise in fault tracing
- Experience in testing within a Continuous Integration (CI) context
- Proficiency in Python programming and Robot Framework
- Python
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Vector CAPL
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of automation tools like Jenkins
- Familiarity with Linux systems
- Experience in Agile development processes such as Scrum
- ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in a large-scale software company

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing support and expertise in the development and maintenance of our test activities, focusing on enabling test automation and facilitating Continuous Integration (CI). Your tasks will span from designing test infrastructure to analyzing test results within the HIL rigs operating in CI environments. You’ll develop toolchains for test automation and create test cases to verify software using Python, Robot Framework, or CAPL. Continuous improvement in test automation and fault tracing for both hardware and software will be central to your responsibilities.
