Description:

Our client is a global provider of data and analytics for the energy transition. The services include data, analytics, insight, events and consultancy across the renewables, energy and natural resources sectors. The Support team will be required to support multiple applications.

Requirements:

● 1-2 years of experience in international production support or a related role.
● Ready to work in rotational shifts
● Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of managing stakeholders and
facilitating effective incident response.
● Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, log analysis, and troubleshooting production
systems.
● Experience executing pre-written database scripts (SQL or similar) without the need to
write new queries.
● Solid computer science background with a demonstrated aptitude for technical growth,
especially in development.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.


Job Responsibilities:

● Monitor production system notifications and alerts, ensuring timely identification of
potential issues.
● Attend incident calls and collaborate with the relevant teams to resolve production
issues.
● Analyze logs to diagnose issues, resolving problems that fall within the Tier 1.5 support
scope.
● Run pre-written database scripts as part of troubleshooting and issue resolution (no
expectation to write new database queries).
● Work closely with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and engage Subject Matter Experts
(SMEs) when necessary to facilitate issue resolution.
● Take ownership of production support tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution
according to SLAs.
● Use monitoring tools for proactive issue detection, perform log analysis, and apply
solutions within the scope of Tier 1.5 responsibilities.
● Continuously improve processes by providing feedback and contributing to post-incident
reviews.
