Description:
Our customer is an American company that designs and sells televisions, sound bars, viewer data, and advertising. Our job will be in a develiry of media pipeline with integration into media player with HAL and DRM support via TEE support.
Requirements:
Proven experience in automation testing, preferably in media playback or similar domains
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and test automation frameworks
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for test automation
C++ optional (read & understand)
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites for media player and pipeline components, adhering to industry best practices
Implement quality of service (QoS) mechanisms to assess media player performance on real devices, including target OS and Raspberry Pi, etc..
Identify and address issues affecting user experience
Perform end-to-end testing to validate the functionality of the media player on different platforms, including Raspberry Pi, MTK, and Novatek chipsets
Participate in the evaluation of DRM certification requirements and work towards achieving the necessary certifications, such as Widevine, PlayReady, or FairPlay
Execute comprehensive test cases to verify the secure playback of DRM-protected content
