Description:
The client is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, administering over $300 billion of private capital on behalf of its clients with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Stamford, Dallas, and Luxembourg. They offer private fund sponsors a best-in-class combination of people, processes, and technology, enabling fund sponsors to most effectively manage their operational infrastructure, financial reporting, and investor communications.
The client represents the most experienced and longest-tenured team in the private equity fund administration industry, with broad expertise across buyouts, funds of funds, real estate, energy, infrastructure, credit, co-investment, hybrid funds, feeder funds, venture capital, retail, and managed accounts.
The project aims to provide well-prepared and formatted analytic data for the customer.

Requirements:
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably with experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with testing tools or other automation frameworks.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test execution tools.
- Knowledge of databases and the ability to write SQL queries to validate data.
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases for APIs.
- Ability to identify and document defects effectively.
- Proficiency in understanding and utilizing API documentation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and automation frameworks.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design creative and effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and providing updates to stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in fund management (preferred).
- Prior experience working with the Fenergo onboarding platform is highly desirable but not required.
- Advanced English is mandatory
Job Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and issues across all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all software features, including edge cases and user scenarios.
Testing of integration/APIs
- Design and Execute Test Cases: Develop and implement test cases to evaluate the functionality, performance, and security of APIs.
- Verify API Responses: Ensure that API responses meet the expected criteria and perform as intended.
- Identify Defects: Detect and document any defects or issues in the APIs, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to ensure that APIs meet the required standards and provide a seamless user experience across applications.
- Understand API Documentation: Thoroughly comprehend API documentation to design effective test cases and scenarios.
- Utilize API Testing Tools: Use various API testing tools to automate and streamline the testing process. MUnit framework or similar is preferred.
- Document Test Results: Record and report test results comprehensively to facilitate issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Bug Identification and Reporting:
- Reproduce reported bugs and document issues with a high level of detail, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and screenshots or logs as needed.
- Work with the Technical lead and technical team to ensure timely resolution of bugs and retesting of resolved issues.
Automation Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Perform regression testing and automation to speed up testing cycles and improve overall efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify technical specifications.
- Provide regular test progress updates and report on any critical issues, blockers, or risks.
Performance and Security Testing:
- Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure the software performs under expected load conditions.
- Perform basic security tests to identify vulnerabilities and report findings to the development team.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test results, test cases, test environments, and configurations.
- Provide feedback on testing best practices.
