Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Administration:
o Install, configure, and manage Percona XtraDB Cluster and Galera Cluster.
o Implement and manage ProxySQL for query routing, load balancing, and high availability.
o Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
o Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and replication.
• Performance Tuning:
o Analyze and optimize database performance, including query optimization and index management.
o Conduct performance tuning and scalability assessments to handle growing data volumes.
• Security Management:
o Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
o Ensure data integrity and security by managing user access and permissions.
• Disaster Recovery:
o Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
o Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
• Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with development teams to support application development and deployment.
o Provide database support and guidance to developers, helping to optimize SQL queries and database schema design.
• Documentation and Compliance:
o Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
