Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
• Experience with one or more public clouds such as Azure
• Reliable, self-motivated and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple
projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or Electronics & Communication
Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ or 6+ years of experience
• Capable of rapid self-learning of new software applications and programming languages.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
• Excellent technical, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
• Requires excellent collaboration, presentation and communication skills.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong experience as a data developer using Python, Kafka, Spark
Streaming, Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB/Mongo DB, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data
Lake Storage, Azure Search etc.
• Strong knowledge and working experience in DW/BI, Data Engineering and/or Data Science using
different tools and in different domains.
• Good knowledge of GitHub, Agile methodologies and tools.
• Nice to have: Experience in Data Science, AI/ML – good understanding and demonstrated
application of the concepts, various models and algorithms.
Job Responsibilities:
Design of data solutions on Databricks including delta lake, data warehouse, data marts and other data solutions to support the analytics needs of the organization.
Apply best practices during design in data modeling (logical, physical) and ETL pipelines (streaming and batch) using cloud-based services.
Design, develop and manage the pipelining (collection, storage, access), data engineering (data quality, ETL, Data Modelling) and understanding (documentation, exploration) of the data.
Interact with stakeholders regarding data landscape understanding, conducting discovery exercises, developing proof of concepts, and demonstrating it to stakeholders.
