Description:
Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code, following a TDD approach
Work closely with other engineers to develop new features and products.
Work on extensions of existing products
Work effectively in a multi-tasking and highly dynamic environment.
Interface with other departments, such as product management and engineering to create solid working relationships and to improve the overall software development process and quality of our Sibelius software.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree or working experience (minimum of 10 years).
Experience designing and implementing accessibility features in C++ on Windows and macOS platforms
High level of proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming
Experience working with a cross-platform UI layer such as Qt and/or working directly with Cocoa and Windows APIs is a plus
Familiarity and great understanding of the western music notation
Strong initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sibelius engineering team is looking for a talented and very experienced C++ software engineer to be a member of our Audio development team. You will be part of a team of passionate musicians and engineers building and improving upon the years of dedication and skill found in the Sibelius code base.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, debugging, and maintaining a C++ application running on Mac and Windows, iOS, and Android. While your exact tasks will vary according to project requirements, typical tasks may include developing new features, writing UI code using our application framework, and contributing to the overall quality of our products.
