About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on AWS Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing cloud engineering team. This role requires deep expertise in AWS architecture, security best practices, and software development while also driving cloud migration projects and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Cloud Architecture & Development – Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
✅ AWS Security & Compliance – Ensure best security practices, IAM policies, and compliance measures are followed.
✅ Cloud Migration Leadership – Strategize and execute large-scale migrations from on-prem or other cloud providers to AWS.
✅ Team Leadership & Mentorship – Guide a team of cloud engineers, fostering innovation and best practices.
✅ Automation & Optimization – Drive automation (IaC, CI/CD) and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
✅ Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with product, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.

Must-Have Skills:

✔ AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
✔ Software Development: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for cloud-based applications.
✔ Cloud Security: Experience with IAM, KMS, security groups, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
✔ Cloud Migration: Proven experience leading cloud migration projects.
✔ Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
✔ CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
✔ Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

🔹 AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security Specialty, etc.)
🔹 Kubernetes (EKS) & containerization experience
🔹 Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP)
🔹 Strong understanding of microservices & event-driven architecture
