Description:

Deals Desk Analyst is a key member of the Sales Operations team responsible for supporting the sales organization by reviewing, structuring, and approving customer deals. This role ensures that all sales transactions are aligned with company policies, pricing strategies, and business goals. The Deals Desk Analyst acts as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, and other departments to facilitate seamless deal execution while maximizing revenue and minimizing risk.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a deals desk role in a SaaS organization
  • Any Graduate (Must possess Graduation documents (Must have Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo))
  • Must be ready to work from office
  • Must be willing to work in any rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)

Preferences:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a deals desk, sales operations, or similar role
  • Understanding of contract terms, revenue recognition principles, and sales compensation models.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and deal management tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and pricing software.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales, renewals, and channel teams to develop and manage accurate pricing quotes for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, renewals, and channel teams to design deal structures that meet customer needs while aligning with company policies and objectives.
  • Analyze sales and deal data to uncover insights related to pricing trends, margin performance, and market competitiveness.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure efficient deal execution and alignment with organizational goals.Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate billing and proper revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review and resolve contract-related issues or terms.
    Identify opportunities for process enhancements to streamline deal desk operations, reduce deal cycle times, and boost sales team efficiency.
    Maintain and update pricing tools, resources, and databases to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
    Act as the primary contact for sales teams to resolve pricing or deal-related inquiries.
    Support sales teams in negotiations by providing data-driven insights and recommendations for deal strategies.
    Ensure all deals comply with internal policies, financial controls, and legal requirements.
    Help identify and mitigate risks associated with complex deals.
    Maintain consistent deal approval and discounting processes to safeguard profit margins and avoid margin erosion.
