Project Manager – Automotive
What you’ll be doing:
• Develop and maintain tools, templates, guidelines, procedures, and processes for all teams to adhere to while training them on how to follow these Governance standards
• Assist in onboarding and coaching new hires and scrum teams into our Governance Model
Manage projects end to end, involving cross teams and stakeholders, focusing on delivery and quality while being able to identify risks and issues.
• Holding members of the Product and Engineering team accountable for program health, Product Roadmaps, PI Planning, and delivery plans while reviewing dependencies with Leadership
Analyze and effectively report on project metrics while understanding what goal the project is driving towards while helping the Product and Engineering team stop things that do not drive towards that goal and vision.
• Communication with Stakeholder regarding project vision, scope, deliverables, and strategies
Understanding risks and issues at a project level and being able to determine critical factors that need attention at a Program level.
• Participation in RFP process: Collaborating with delivery leadership, sales, practice and other stakeholders to create winning proposals
What skills/experience do you need:
• Minimum 12 yrs of experience in Automotive domain as project lead or project co-ordinator
• Experience in leading delivery teams of upto 30+ HC in either Infotainment, ADAS or BCM
Domains
• Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience in end to end delivery management
• Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated and comfortable with working in fast paced environment
• Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects and initiatives at once
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Open to change and thrives on learning and acquiring deep expertise in project and program management
• Can effectively use and analyze data for reporting and decision support mechanisms.
• Can effectively communicate at all levels (including C-level) of the organization, breaking down complex issues into actionable information.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Electronics & Comm/Telecomm, Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical
12+ year(s) of relevant experience
