As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role designing internal and external modern and innovative digital services and products. You will take the ownership of the client’s applications and services landscape and build the architectural solution for upcoming changes and new features, taking into consideration performance and scalability, maintainability, security and cost optimization.
Our client is operating in the distribution and supply of natural gas, electricity and energy solutions for residential, commercial and industrial clients, serving ~50% of Romanian households.
It serves about 3.4 million consumers across Romania, including households, businesses and institutions.

• 10+ years in IT with strong enterprise-level Solution Architecture skills
• Proficient in backend, frontend, infrastructure, and data architecture with exposure to business architecture
• Strong knowledge with the ability to provide immediate trade-off analysis and solutions for large and complex systems
• Experience with Microservices, Cloud, Security, and more
• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively
• Hands-on enterprise-level production experience, preferably with high-load and/or near real-time systems
• Proficient with Azure, AWS, GCP (with a preference for Azure)
• Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in Java
• CI/CD Tools: experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools

• Take the ownership of the client’s applications and services landscape
• Understand and document existing flows
• Propose and drive improvements to the following areas: Azure Services used, Development and Deployment Processes, Integration Patterns used
• Design architectural solution for upcoming changes/new features taking into consideration performance and scalability, maintainability, security and cost optimization
• Participate and contribute in architectural meetings to facilitate integration between various teams/products and drive/propose the overall technical direction of the client’s software platform
• Offer support for development and DevOps teams, hands-on contribution when needed
