The GlobalLogic team is engaged in an exciting project to enhance the customer’s software solutions. This includes adapting and optimizing system components for compatibility with the latest technologies, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining high performance and reliability standards.

必要条件

• 3+ years of Linux Kernel development experience;
• Experience in memory management and kernel debugging/profiling tools
• Knowledge of Linux file systems and kernel user space
• Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, ESXi)
• Strong background in Red Hat, SELinux, and system dump analysis
• Experience with porting and optimizing functionality to new kernel/OS versions
• Experience with developing or maintaining kernel network drivers.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel networking subsystems.
• Knowledge of kernel L2 network stack.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced English

職務内容

• Participating in analyzing kernel modules, user-space scripts, and dependencies to ensure compatibility with target OS and kernel versions.
• Assisting with porting and integrating functionality into updated kernel/OS environments.
• Supporting the preparation and execution of tests to validate kernel module functionality.
• Collaborating on the investigation and resolution of kernel crashes, system performance optimization, and debugging complex issues.
• Documenting research findings and contributing to detailed planning for kernel and system updates.
