職種概要

Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
● The candidate should have a full-time Bachelor’s in Engineering (IT, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Electronics etc.) from a reputed institute.
● Demonstrated Work experience of 6 to 9 years++ on web technology projects for a multinational company or division of a large corporation. 2-3 completed digital projects, preferably in different roles.
● Good cloud technology skills within Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, etc.
● Excellent understanding and demonstrated experience with infrastructure set up, sizing, and metering across different regions/cloud platforms.
● Excellent understanding and demonstrated experience with virtualization, containerization / dockers (Eg. Kubernetes) – deployment, management, etc.
● Working knowledge of best-practice deployment pipeline organization including segmentation between different environments.
● Clear understanding of DevOps, Cloud technologies and scripting languages like Python, and deployment scripts like Ansible, Terraform and Helm charts
● Hands on experience of IIoT, big data, data lakes, data analytics tools, cognitive computing, AI, machine learning, etc.
● Customer facing experience as part of the project life cycle (one or more touch points).
● Proven ability to drive projects, within distributed teams (across geographies), to deliver outcomes.

Focused Areas:
1. Building Pipeline (process, tools, hands-on)
2. Knowledge on Infrastructure (process, tools, networking, arch/designing, VMs, DBs, Elastic, SaaS services, Cloud platform)
3. Deploying applications (docker, Kubernetes, debugging, open source
4. Monitoring and Operations (dashboards, DR, design for Zero downtime) Focusing to know more where candidate has hands-on – Preference is on 1 and 2 having, knowledge on 3 and 4 is good
5. Experience in multiple deployments, huge scale of deployment
6. Ability to lead the team technically and also be IC (edited)

Job Summary:
● Responsible for the deployment and monitoring of platform infrastructure, apps, and services in multiple cloud environments.
● Responsible for design of a deployment based on components available from development
● Contributes to the organization and operation of multiple deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability of Companies Digital Service Portfolio across various regions and deployments as per appropriate SLA.
● Coordinates with different functions, not limited to development, application engineering, operations, regional support, etc.

Basic Functions / Key Accountabilities:
● Help establish the Digital Platform Operations Process and function with support from the Digital Services Manager.
● Put in place best-practice naming conventions and organization of deployment scripts, container images and other components of multiple deployment pipelines.
● Coordinate with the infrastructure, platform and app development teams, RHQ engineering teams and support teams.
● Coordinate closely with the Development & DevOps team to roll out upgrades & patches & Support team for issue management & resolution.
● Coordinates closely with the IT team to ensure thatcompanies’s digital assets on lease to the customer are secure from cyber-attacks.
● Support the development, platform & infrastructure teams to optimize resource consumption & usage subject to KPI.
● Define & Monitor metering mechanisms, usage analytics, using insights thereon to improve overall customer experience.
● Audit & Compliance – Provide compliance & audit support to DXP & customers.
● Develop maintenance schedules and work with infrastructure teams to apply patches and upgrades across all systems.
● Help build the operations function, process and workflow.
● Help build the resource metering & billing processes (including resource alerts, resource provisioning, renewals etc).
● Drive the completion of work, as captured in help desk tickets, and defined in scrum sprints.

Additional Accountabilities: Any other functions added by the management from time to time.
