Alcon would like to explore the benefits of automation for embedded software modules. We will build a PoC that is aimed for Alcon to see the improvement in coverage, speed, and scalability of test automation approach.

必要条件

  • Python 3
  • Parallel processing (threading, asyncio)
  • RPC usage
  • Embedded systems basic understanding

 

Nice to have:
Experiences with CAN, SPI, I2C, PWM
Experiences with gRPC & protobuf
Design test framework from scratch
Experiences with pytest
Stubs/simulators implementation

  • Support and responsibilities for automation testing of a selected component
  • Creating & executing functional tests, customer scenario testing
  • Test Automation framework skeleton with base reporting and virtual time modules, scalable and extendable for other system components
