Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid foundation in technical support, and a passion for problem-solving. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in Tier 1 support, with a solid background in Linux system administration, network troubleshooting, and familiarity with medical imaging systems.

Requirements

• 9 months to 2 years of experience in a Tier 1 support role or similar technical support role.
• Previous experience in customer service or technical support.
• 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in remote troubleshooting (SSH, VPN tunnels).
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with database maintenance.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows configuration and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (B2 level proficiency in English).
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell) is a plus.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, network security, IPSec, or VPN is advantageous.
• DICOM, HL7, and radiology workflows knowledge is essential.

 


Preferences

• Experience in the healthcare domain, particularly with medical imaging systems.
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SQL for database management and maintenance.

 


Job Responsibilities

• Prioritize workload based on client SLAs and escalate tickets to the appropriate departments when necessary.
• Analyze and troubleshoot the workflow of complex integrations involving network devices, workstations, and servers.
• Log and document all incidents accurately using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and provide timely resolutions to client problems.
• Perform database maintenance and troubleshoot using SQL commands.
• Edit configuration files on Linux servers or troubleshoot applications running on Microsoft Windows workstations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless resolution of client issues.
• Maintain and develop internal and external relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Gain hands-on experience and understanding of DICOM, HL7, and Radiology Workflows in a real-world setting.
