Description
Our team is dedicated to the development and verification of cutting-edge software for electromechanical brakes and electromechanical parking brakes. We produce a Software Component for Parking Brake Control that is integrated into third-party Electronic Control Units related to Advanced Parking Brake functionality. Our commitment to excellence ensures compliance with industry standards, including ISO 26262 and ASPICE, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying the software components of our electromechanical braking systems. Your role will involve creating and managing test plans, developing test scenarios, and ensuring the test environment is set up and maintained with appropriate tools. You will play a critical role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements
- 3+ years of software testing experience
- Degree in physics, software, or an engineering-based discipline related to transportation
- Experience with ASCET Models, TPT toolchain for unit testing, MIL, SIL, CAN, and MS Office
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 standard, requirements management, and configuration management
- Comprehensive understanding of unit black box and white box testing
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Collaborative team spirit
- Result-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Organized and autonomous
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong spoken and written English skills
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software development team to analyze and develop software unit tests
- Set up and manage the test environment for verifying the current application software release
- Develop test plans and implement test scenarios in compliance with internal processes, ISO 26262, and ASPICE
- Perform software verification, including test reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
- Debug code and propose bug fixes in cooperation with software engineers, following the existing process for software change management
- Generate verification-related documentation and ensure traceability and consistency for the current application software release in accordance with internal processes and ISO 26262 standards
- Participate in continuous improvement activities within CBI, such as optimizing internal processes and benchmarking and setting up development tools
