Description
• Your other responsibility will be to help in setting up and maintaining simple test equipment & performing manual testing or running automated scripts and then analyzing logs.
• Your ambition and enthusiasm, as well as your ability to quickly learn new concepts and willingness to contribute to the general team success, while working independently, would be a great advantage.
Requirements
• Hands-on experience with general-purpose and RF lab instrumentation
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix simple hardware/software tool issues
• System-level debug experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, can-do attitude
Preferences
• As a Software QA engineer you will be working on testing wireless protocol coverage and efficiency in real-life and lab environments.
• This job may involve traveling/driving/walking within a locality (zip code) with very lightweight hardware, in order to properly test the protocol performance in various terrain and population/building density scenarios.
Job Responsibilities
• 2+ years of experience in the industry (Electrical/Electronics/Communication/Computer background is preferred).
• Working with testing embedded systems/IoT devices/mobile/consumer devices
• General understanding of wireless and RF communication, especially BLE/LoRa modulation etc.
