Description
The client team envisions a future state platform (xPlatform) that provides a simplified, cohesive, and compelling end-to-end experience for all Hitachi Vantara customers and partners across touchpoints, products, and services. To achieve this vision, the client is seeking an experience and design partner that can accelerate their efforts to:
- Define and build consensus around a clear product vision, strategy and customer/partner experience.
- Execute brand and visual design in alignment with the updated Hitachi Vantara branding strategy.
- Build and deliver platforms and architectures that support the long term vision of xPlatform.
Requirements
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in QA engineering, with a focus on both manual and automated testing of web applications.
3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
5. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cypress.
6. Solid programming skills, preferably in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
7. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer specializing in both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, as well as implementing automated testing solutions to streamline our testing processes and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications, and participate in defining acceptance criteria.
2. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
3. Conduct thorough manual testing of web applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
4. Execute manual test cases and document test results, ensuring that all issues are accurately recorded and communicated to the development team.
5. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
6. Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.
7. Continuously optimize automated testing processes to improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
8. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
9. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing, automation tools, and web technologies.
10. Provide timely and actionable feedback to the development team to facilitate rapid resolution of issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
