Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of IT industry experience: security analyst/security-focused technical role (e.g., Security Engineer or Software Engineer);
- Proven experience in creating and managing security documentation for regulated software products
- Expertise with industry regulations and standards (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST)
- Cloud security: Amazon Web Services AWS
- Information security management
- Strong understanding of software development processes and secure coding practices
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and translate regulatory requirements into actionable security practices and policies
- Knowledge of various security tools and technologies
- Understanding of risk managemen, assessment techniques (e.g. Threat Modeling, Failure Mode Analysis, etc…) and standards
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in Healthcare domain and/or with medical devices
- Experience working with Healthcare Data standards, including HL7v2, FHIR and DICOM
- Experience in implementation, supporting and auditing/assessment of Quality Management Systems
- Experience in building software classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
- Experience in implementing enterprise grade cyber security& privacy by design into software products
- Experience working in Digital Health software
- Experience developing global applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC – Waterfall & Agile methodologies
- Software estimation
- Experience leading software development teams
English:
- Upper Intermediate or higher;
- ability to communicate with native speakers is a must;
Job Responsibilities
The Software Security Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing documentation that supports regulated software product security standards, driving compliance with industry and customer policies.
- Create, review and update security documentation for software products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards andcustomer policies
- Assess project activities and deliverables against established procedures, standards and regulations
- Develop security policies, procedures and guidelines for software teams
- Develop security requirement specifications and development guidelines as necessary.
- Operate as the team expert in regards to industry regulations and standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST)
- Ensure that all security documentation aligns with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits of security documentation to ensure ongoing compliance through software release iterations
- Work closely with software teams to integrate security requirements into the SDLC
- Collaborate with enterprise security and legal teams to interpret requirements and translate into actional documentation and requirements
