Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience validating software
• Experience in Web, mobile and API test automation
• Experience in Software Test Automation
• Proficient in several programming languages used in test automation primarily Java and other languages -Python, Java Script, etc.
• Experience working with CI-CD tools
• Experience with automated testing of web based applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android) and REST services;
• Experience with continuous integration, testing & deployment;
• Experience with git, GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, Playwright and Appium (Java+Appium);
• Preferred availability to visit office once in a week;
• Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe;
• Good analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Connected Vehicle Prior experience working with an Automotive OEM
• Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM
• Experienced with multi-process, multi-threaded development environments
• Experience with AWS Services: S3, SM, ECS, ECR, DF
• ISTQB Certification

 

Job responsibilities

• Knowledge in Web, mobile or API test automation.
• Review existing automated test coverage, assess new requirements, and identify any gaps that may exist.
• Understand and contribute to processes for Continuous testing, Test Management and Test Reporting for Automated Test Suites
• Develop automated tests using modern development languages (Java, Java Script or Python)
• Bringing to bear existing test automation framework, build automated API, functional and Non-functional tests using various automation tools/framework (i.e. Selenium, Perfecto, Appium, Postman, Rest Assured, Playwright, GitHub, Jenkins, JMeter, AWS cloud services)
• Ability to develop test following best coding practices i.e scripts are portable, reusable and maintainable
• Drive continuous improvements in automated testing coverage and speed.
• Integrate testing processes with continuous integration pipeline.
• Identify new tools and technologies to develop an outstanding validation platform
