Description

As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and effective data models for our platform. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data architecture supports both analytical and transactional use cases, with a strong emphasis on financial data.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data modeling, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
Strong experience with Snowflake, Kafka, and similar technologies.
Proficient in SQL and experience with other database technologies (e.g., relational, NoSQL).
Understanding of data warehouse design, ETL processes, and analytics pipelines.
Strong knowledge of financial data modeling concepts and best practices.
Experience with ER/Star schema modeling and normalization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job responsibilities

Design and implement logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support various platform features.
Work closely with data architects and engineers to ensure that data models align with business requirements and are optimized for performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain data models for high-performance data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
Collaborate with product and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical data models.
Define data relationships, normalization rules, and design patterns to ensure consistency across the platform.
Stay current with the latest modeling techniques and tools.
