Description
The Diversified/ Industrial/ Software Enabled portfolio clients in the small and medium size have to
pivot to a digital future at the core. They are at a juncture where future growth depends on being truly
digital from the front to the back with zero friction products and services that are enabled by data to
deliver stronger engagement and enhanced experience.
Given this, the Private Equity Business Unit commercial team has to scale to be a trusted partner that can clearly articulate the
GL value proposition and the impact it will create from a strategic, product, technology and business
lens.
Specifically, the role requires a candidate who demonstrates the following capabilities, as listed in detail in Responsibilities and Requirements:

The starting base salary range for this role is estimated to be $180000 to 210000. This salary range is based on the role and is provided as a good-faith estimate. The amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
Requirements
Approximately 10 to 15 years’ aggregate, related experience in software engineering and architecture sales, preferably to private equity clients.
A track record of demonstrated success in selling custom developed applications or systems integration services to external clients, with SDLC expertise.
Experience in selling the benefits of offshore resourcing.
Account growth as demonstrated by success in expanding engineering footprint at clients and building strong relationships.
Executive level communications skills both verbal and written, with whitepapers and webinars delivered regularly as a plus.
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Strong engineering acumen: Strong background in software engineering and architecture, with
demonstrated success in selling custom developed applications or systems integration services to
clients. Knowledgeable and conversant about all stages of the software product development life cycle.
Experience in selling the benefits of offshore resourcing
Account Growth Focus: Demonstrated success in expanding engineering footprint at accounts through
understanding customer needs and challenges, listening actively to develop value propositions for
clients in a collaborative manner and building strong relationships.
Problem-Solving Ability: Proactively identify innovative areas/ solutions that address emerging client
needs. Identify client’s challenges in design, engineering, and data, brainstorm/ propose solutions, and
overcome objections.
Strategic Thinking: Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and
technological advancements to position GL as a thought leader and trusted advisor who understands
digital engineering processes, technologies, and industry trends.
Market Development: Ability to contribute executive leadership by being present at key events and
conferences and influence clients to provide references, generate analyst coverage, and participate in
joint webinars and speaking engagements.
GlobalLogic Alignment: Commitment to immersing themselves in the GL universe of products and services and
creatively enriching it with the larger Hitachi family suite of services and solutions. Show an ability to
collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical or operational issues to impact value proposition.
