Amy Hanlon-Rodemich Joins GlobalLogic as Chief People Officer
Silicon Valley Veteran to Run HR Globally with Focus on Engagement and Innovation
SAN JOSE, CALIF. – June 19, 2019 – GlobalLogic Inc., a leader in digital product engineering, today announced that Silicon Valley Human Resources (HR) expert, Amy Hanlon-Rodemich, has joined the company as Chief People Officer (CPO). In this role, Ms. Hanlon-Rodemich will be responsible for all of GlobalLogic’s HR functions globally. She replaces Bonnie Helton, who is set to retire this year, capping off an amazing career as an HR leader, and four years of dedicated service as GlobalLogic’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
“As a services company, GlobalLogic’s success hinges on the quality, dedication, and drive of its people. To that end, the CPO role is absolutely vital,” said Shashank Samant, CEO, GlobalLogic. “We are thankful to Bonnie Helton for the many fantastic contributions she made in creating an amazing HR function at GlobalLogic – and we’re very excited to have Amy Hanlon-Rodemich on board to take our program to the next level. Amy’s experience promises a fresh and innovative perspective, which is invaluable at this juncture of our growth.”
Ms. Hanlon-Rodemich’s experience spans many pivotal HR positions at some of the most well-known Silicon Valley brands. Prior to GlobalLogic, she was Vice President of Human Resources at Synopsys. In that role, her team supported the company’s seven corporate business units (BUs) worldwide, as well as the employee service center. Before Synopsys, Amy worked at Yahoo, where she was responsible for key HR functions including technical and leadership training, organizational development, and all global employee services.
In her early career, she was employee 11 at Inktomi during its start-up phase, where she ultimately helped the company expand to more than one thousand employees. After Inktomi, Amy went on to VMware where she was in charge of HR Shared Services and Global Talent Development Operations at a crucial time, when the company was experiencing hyper-growth. This range of companies in various stages of maturity, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar giants, and her exposure to such a wide range of HR disciplines give Amy a unique world-view and a powerful base of experience to draw from. Ms. Hanlon-Rodemich holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts university, and a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
“In the technology world, the competition for talent is more intense than ever,” said Ms. Hanlon-Rodemich. “Companies can only succeed if they are attracting and retaining their talent. GlobalLogic is already highly-regarded as a great place to work, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team to take the People programs at the company to the next level.”
