Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.
Implement best practices in automation testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Test Execution and Reporting:
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Report and track defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing and executing functional, regression, and performance tests.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation quality and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation and QA.
Propose and implement improvements in test automation processes and methodologies.
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the team’s growth.
Collaboration:
Work closely with QA engineers, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with Python for test automation.
Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and querying.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with other programming languages and tools is a plus.
