Job responsibilities

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technical initiatives. The role focuses on coordinating multiple workstreams and teams toward a singular business or technical outcome. Combining traditional project management expertise with hands-on execution, the TDM ensures consistent delivery excellence—even when working with teams that do not report directly to them. The ideal candidate will be delivery-focused, highly collaborative, and capable of driving outcomes across diverse functions.

Delivery Leadership:

– Own and support the end-to-end delivery of projects, managing timelines, scope, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
– Coordinate multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive solution aligned to business goals.
– Track progress, remove blockers, and keep teams focused on the shared objective.

Project & Program Management:
– Leverage traditional project management skills (e.g., scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication) alongside agile methodologies.
– Create and maintain detailed delivery plans, timelines, status reports, and RAID logs.
– Drive execution with clarity and accountability, even when managing indirect reports and third-party contributors.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination:
– Act as the primary point of contact for delivery status across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
– Influence and align stakeholders toward agreed delivery milestones and value-driven priorities.
– Facilitate collaboration among diverse technical and non-technical teams.

Quality & Testing Oversight:
– Ensure deliveries meet architecture, quality, and operational standards.
– Advocate for and support testing practices including unit, integration, and UAT.
– Experience or understanding of data testing is desirable, particularly in data platforms or data migration-focused projects.

Process Improvement & Governance:
– Continuously improve delivery processes and team efficiency.
– Ensure compliance with internal governance, risk, and security requirements.
– Support retrospectives, delivery metrics tracking, and capability uplift.
