Requirements
- Experience with working with projects which are deployed to public cloud like Aws or Azure
- Worked on Data analytics services
- Hands on experience in version control tools like Git
- Good to have knowledge of data warehousing concepts – dimensions, facts, schemase
- Develop and optimize data architectures (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) using modern cloud and on-premises technologies
- Good to have knowledge of AWS databases (at least one) Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, DynamoDB.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data availability.
- Ensure data quality by implementing processes for data validation, cleansing, and monitoring.
Job Responsibilities
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, which includes hands-on experience in Big Data technologies.
- Experience analysing data engineering practices within client teams
- Work with cloud technology to develop cloud adoption plans, determine cloud application design, and create systems for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud system.
- Experience providing assessment recommendations to clients on how to improve their data architecture and practices
- Maintain information accuracy and security while initiating bulk data transfers.
- Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise.
- Create data transfer and storage standard operating procedures and policy documentation while adhering to industry standards and best practices
- Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud, especially during major transfer, updates, or changes.
- Serve as the cloud architect subject-matter expert for the client team
