Description
- Design and deliver all mechanical aspects of the radio (assumed to exclude the antenna itself). Mechanical & Thermal simulation work to ensure the quality of the design.
- Concept Design and Thermal Simulations are must-have.
- RF / Radio Frequency experience is necessary
- Prototype manufacture/build
Requirements
- Cavity filter design
- Integration with PSU, Digital & RF PCBs, Cavity Filters – addition of screening, thermal inserts, internal cover – review of fit and alignment
- RU Product Design – including Material selection, paint selection, tolerance definition, ergonomics, …
- Cabling and RU to Antenna connection
- Fixture design – for factory, lab, and field
Job Responsibilities
- DFM of parts
- Tooling design and manufacture
- RU Sample Manufacture
- Thermal and environmental testing
- Packaging design
- Admin – Family Tree & PNs, costing, work instructions, installation guides creation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
