Description
The project is dedicated to the largest manufacturer and distributor of home appliances in Europe. Our experienced engineers develop the Smart Home ecosystem.
The team works in SAFe and the PI Planning takes place once a month in the client’s office in Warsaw.

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with backend development in Java, Kotlin
- Knowledge concerning Jenkins & CI/CD best practices
- Practical knowledge of any containerization technologies (like Docker)
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot
- Understanding of RESTful API, microservices architecture basics, and authentication methods
- Experience in working SCRUM / Kanban
- Familiarity with GIT and experience with the code review process
- Understanding of clean code principles and design patterns
- Ability to confidently communicate in English both verbally and in writing (B2)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about digital certificates/PKI
- Any knowledge of AWS or other Cloud Providers (nice to know Terraform)
- Basic knowledge of stream processing tools (like Apache Flink and/or Kafka Streams)
- Basic knowledge of Kafka
- Experience with CloudFoundry
- Basic concepts of JWT
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Java and Kotlin
- Build and enhance microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
- Implement authentication mechanisms and ensure application security
- Work with Jenkins and follow CI/CD best practices to automate builds, testing, and deployments
- Utilize Docker and containerization technologies to streamline deployment
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and design patterns
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate using GIT to ensure high-quality software development
- Debug and resolve backend issues efficiently
- Optimize system performance and ensure application reliability
