Description
We build and maintain internal applications for a worldwide tech company based in Los Angeles. These are high-availability applications to support different company processes.
The team’s framework is based on empowerment and ownership, where each feature requirement is assigned to a team member who is responsible of it during the complete software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- English (Upper-Intermediate)
- Proficient in Javascript & Typescript
- Proficient working with ReactJS
- Proficient in Java
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Strong knowledge of Semantic HTML.
- Experience working with GIT
- Experience working with Gradle
- Experience working with Python will be a major plus.
- At least an Upper-Intermediate English level.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with low supervision.
- Must demonstrate a hands-on attitude, attention to detail and results orientation.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them to technical solutions.
- Good knowledge of the continuous deployment and integration process.
- Ability to ramps-up-quickly, is proactive, takes ownership.
- Should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements and design.
Job Responsibilities
- Write high-quality and maintainable React code and write tests (Jest) for their features.
- Write high-quality Java code and write tests for their features.
- Experience with a complete lifecycle of software development, from design to productionisation.
- Conduct E2E test for their assigned features.
- Ensure quality and that the delivery dates of their assigned features are met.
- Work independently with Product Owners to confirm and polish business requirements.
- Report and mitigate potential risks and deviations in time.
- Optimize applications to maximize speed and scale.
- Coordinate less experienced team members collaborating with their assigned features.
- Troubleshoot the framework/CI/env issues and fix them.
