Description
• Present the analytics report to business owners on a regular basis.
• Perform research on the latest telecom and machine learning use cases/implementations independently. Draft patents and papers for research projects.
• Master or PhD Degree (Preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, etc.
• 5+ years’ machine learning experience in a professional role.
Requirements
• Solid skills on machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Pytorch, MXNet, scikit-learn, etc.
• Expertise of system performance fine-tuning of the database schema is required.
• Strong analytical capabilities, creativity and critical thinking required.
• Good mobile telecommunications industry knowledge, including experience with handset manufacturers, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors is preferred.
• Passion and experience in sports analytics are preferred.
Preferences
• Perform data analytics and quantitative modeling for devices and wireless networks to improve device performance, quality, user quality of experience, and quality of service.
• Design and develop proactive care and anomaly detection system for device performance, network performance, and customer experience.
• Visualize the analytical results using data visualization tools.
Job Responsibilities
• Master machine learning algorithms including forecasting, clustering, classification, reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, deep learning, etc.
• Data extraction/transformation/loading, text mining, and statistical analysis experience is required.
• 5+ years’ experience with Python, R, Matlab, VBA, Java Scripts.
• 5+ years’ experience with Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, MS Excel, VBA, TeraData SQL, MS SQL.
